The best coaches don't develop alone.
Coach Mentoring is an ongoing developmental relationship built around you and your coaching. Through regular conversation, thoughtful challenge and reflection, we'll explore not only what you do, but the beliefs, values and assumptions that shape how you coach — and the coach you're becoming.
MORE THAN ADVICE
Notice
Question
Reflect
Recognise patterns in how you think and coach.
Explore assumptions you may rarely stop to examine.
Make deeper sense of your experiences.
Challenge
Clarify
Evolve
Allow your thinking to be tested rather than simply reinforced.
Become clearer about what you believe and why it matters.
Allow your coaching — and your thinking — to keep changing.
Mentoring isn't about having someone more experienced tell you what to do.
It’s about having someone alongside you who can question, challenge and help you make sense of your experiences — so you develop your own thinking, not simply follow theirs.
Mentoring doesn't give you someone else's answers.
It helps you discover and continually question your own.
I’ll bring experience, perspective and challenge, but the thinking remains yours. Together we’ll explore what’s happening, question what you believe and keep evolving the way you coach.
WHY I CREATED COACH MENTORING
Some of the most important development in coaching happens beneath what we do.
It sits in the beliefs, values and assumptions that shape what we notice, the decisions we make and the environments we create.
Those things can be difficult to see from inside our own coaching. Mentoring creates an ongoing relationship where experiences can be examined, assumptions challenged and thinking allowed to evolve
over time.
This is for you if
It may not be right if
You're actively coaching and want to keep developing.
You value thoughtful challenge rather than easy answers.
You want to understand your own coaching more deeply.
You're ready to take responsibility for your own development.
You're mainly looking for someone to tell you what to do.
You want occasional technical advice rather than anongoing relationship.
You're looking for a qualification or structured course. You're not currently interested in questioning or exploring the thinking behind your coaching.

WHY COACH MENTORING MATTERS
Fresh perspective
Self - awareness
Honest challenge
Evolving thinking
The most valuable mentoring relationships don't stay the same. As both people develop, the
conversation develops with them.
The relationship may begin with a mentor and a coach.
At its best, it can grow into two people continually challenging each other and taking thinking to completely new territories.
