Welcome to Burners Basecamp. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (www.burnersbasecamp.com) and participation in any of our camps, coaching programs, events, or services (“Services”). By using this website or registering for any Services, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

Burners Basecamp delivers performance coaching and freestyle kayaking programs for youth and adult athletes. We operate in the UK and internationally, offering camps, coaching intensives, themed weekends, and bespoke training.

2. Eligibility

  • To register for youth camps, participants must meet the stated age and skill requirements.

  • Adult camps are open to individuals aged 18+.

  • All participants under 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. Bookings & Payments

  • Bookings are made online or directly via our team and confirmed upon receipt of payment.

  • Prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change.

  • Payment must be made in full before the start of the event unless otherwise agreed.

  • Some events may offer payment plans, which must be honoured by the participant or guardian.

  • We reserve the right to refuse bookings at our discretion.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Participant cancellations:

    • Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start of the event are eligible for a full refund.

    • Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance are eligible for a partial refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will be considered for a refund only if we are able to fill the vacated place.

  • No-shows or last-minute withdrawals may not be eligible for any refund.

  • Burners Basecamp cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule an event, we will offer a full refund or credit towards a future camp.

5. Health, Safety & Insurance

  • All participants are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions or special requirements during registration.

  • Activities take place in dynamic outdoor environments and on water. Safety is our top priority, and all participants must follow the instructions of Burners Basecamp staff and coaches at all times.

  • Burners Basecamp holds public liability insurance, but we do not provide personal travel or accident insurance.

  • It is a requirement that all participants—whether attending in the UK or traveling internationally—hold their own personal accident and travel insurance appropriate for kayaking and outdoor adventure activities.

Burners Basecamp is a supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment. We expect all participants to:

  • Respect coaches, staff, and fellow athletes

  • Follow instructions and camp rules

  • Refrain from unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour

Failure to comply may result in removal from the program without refund.
