Refund Policy

1. Participant Cancellations

If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, the following refund structure applies:

• More than 60 days before the start of the event
  You are eligible for a full refund of the fees paid.

• Between 31 and 60 days before the event
  You are eligible for a partial refund (typically 50%, unless otherwise stated at booking).

• 30 days or fewer before the event
  Refunds will only be issued if we are able to re-fill your place. If we cannot fill your spot, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund.

• No-shows or last-minute withdrawals
  No refunds will be issued unless under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Burners Basecamp.

 

2. Burners Basecamp Cancellations

If Burners Basecamp cancels or reschedules a camp or event for any reason (e.g. extreme weather, safety concerns, minimum booking numbers not met):

• You will be offered a full refund, or

• You may choose to receive a credit toward a future event.

 

3. Non-Refundable Items

• Any booking fees or processing charges incurred via third-party systems may be non-refundable, depending on the platform used.

• Travel, accommodation, or insurance costs booked separately are not covered by this refund policy. We recommend all participants purchase flexible travel arrangements and personal travel insurance.

 

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at info@burnersbasecamp.com with:

• Your full name

• The event you registered for

• The date you booked and paid

• The reason for your cancellation

Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of confirmation.

 

5. Exceptions and Special Cases

In rare and exceptional situations (e.g. medical emergencies), partial or full refunds may be considered outside the standard timelines. Supporting documentation may be required. All such decisions are made at the discretion of Burners Basecamp and are final.

 

6. Insurance Requirement

Burners Basecamp does not provide personal accident or travel insurance. It is a requirement for all participants to have their own appropriate insurance coverage before attending a camp—particularly for international travel or high-risk activities.
